In Mexico, more than 80% of young people neglected the necessary measures against Covid-19. Despite the prohibition of social events as a countermeasure to curb the pandemic, people continued to hold clandestine parties, tripling the spread of the virus and contributing to the extension of lockdowns

Las Vickys, one of the most popular pre-mixed beers among young generations, had to do something about it. And what better way than by transforming underground parties into something people could actually attend—a virtual party. We created a metaverse (before it was popular), inspired by the real parties hosted in Tepito, one of the most iconic urban neighborhoods in Mexico. 

We crafted a virtual scenario where we hosted the best urban artists of the moment, like Santa Fe Klan, Uzielito Mix, Gera Mx and more. Through the use of VR, people could literally be transported and enjoy a new experience, all without breaking any rules and helping to keep everyone else safe.
